Löve is an open-source engine that Nich and I decided to use instead of Unreal. Our original idea was to make a 3D game with our team of new newbies, but it seemed like a too big of a task to handle for our first game. Instead we choose an engine that one of Nich’s friends used before so he could introduce us to it.
Here’s a picture of our experiments so far:
Nothing much happened today, except from Peter missing because he had to help his dad.
Nichlas and I have been testing different functions in the engine called “Löve2D”. It’s easier to use and it have a couple of useful build-in functions that will make our learning progress easier.
As you might have noticed, the website is now live, and is functional!
I will in the near future start blogging about game development in the UDK (Unreal Development Kit) and some links to some tutorials might follow as well.
Otherwise I might blog about everything from webdesign to C++ code.
Over and out!
